From making data exciting and accessible to DJing and music production, there's more to this Hot Desker than spreadsheets!
We caught up with Joshua to chat about favourite DeskLodge spots, staying productive and life outside of work. 🎧🎨
I'm a Data Analytst for Williams Lea. Williams Lea do outsourcing and back office services, mainly for finance and legal sectors. I wind up on all sorts of projects, but I'm typically crafting spreadsheets, databases and reports to support my colleagues!
You mean other than getting to work at Desklodge? I have a lot of freedom in my work, tasks are varied, but most of all I love getting to support others by making data exciting and accessible.
I know it's a cliche, but I love listening to music to help get into a flow. I think I'm also lucky to be in a field that I find engaging, it gives me a lot of natural enthusiasm to complete my work.
Recently I like working downstairs by reception because the desk space is generous and I can take calls, but I'm also really fond of the book nooks and the whole of the third floor.
It's not personal advice, but this quote from Brené Brown is very close to my heart especially in relation to work. "Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change."
I like drawing doodles, DJing and producing music, and going on walks in the woods.
Only three? That's tough. I guess I'd have to go with friendly, stylish and peaceful.
