How have the pandemic and lockdowns been for The Renewable Exchange?
It's been busier than ever for The Renewable Exchange over the pandemic. Our last office closed so we were grateful to be taken in by the wonderful Desklodge family once we were allowed back to the office. We've grown rapidly due to so many renewable generators looking for digital solutions (enter: The Renewable Exchange) to sell their electricity to the market efficiently. The team has doubled in size and we continue to look for top talent to join us on our mission to support more renewable generators!
What are your plans for 2022?
We continue to build out the team in the UK and support more and more generators of renewable electricity through our online marketplace. We've got plenty of cool feature ships lined up throughout 2022. But the biggest plan we've got is launching our Germany business in Hamburg! This has been equally fun and challenging, and we're looking for German speakers to join the team to support our growth plans into Germany!
What’s been the best thing about working from DeskLodge?
What's not to like!? The flexibility over the last year has been awesome. We love all the decor and general vibe, somewhere between hipster and family, with some professionalism sprinkled around. An office with great showers, fruit Tuesdays, socials, sweets Fridays, an awesome front of house team! It's been awesome.
