From keeping her team connected to tackling the unexpected with a smile (and the occasional bad joke!), Genevieve shares what she loves most about her role, why no two days are ever the same, and how DeskLodge helps Desynit work together.

I love the variety of the role and feel extremely lucky that it naturally involves working with everyone across the team. One of my favourite parts is staying connected with the team, whether they're in the office, working from home, or off-site on projects
The most surprising part of my job is just how unpredictable it is! Every day brings something new, whether it's telling bad jokes to cut the tension in a photoshoot, helping find the right workspace for our business or supporting a colleague with a challenge. I love the variety and the chance to help make everyone's day a little easier while keeping things moving forward.
For now, I'm exactly where I want to be. I love my role, the people I work with, and the opportunities to learn and contribute. My career path is about doing work I enjoy, continuing to grow, and making a meaningful impact along the way.
DeskLodge helps me do my job by giving us a flexible, welcoming space that makes it easy to work together.
