Meet Sarah, DeskLodge Old Market fixed desker and marketing manager at Good Sixty, a unique marketplace & eco-friendly delivery service for high quality independent food retailers and producers. Sarah likes to read, write, and occasionally make earrings too.
What do Good Sixty do?
We help customers discover and shop from hidden gems, micro producers, world renowned specialists and the best high street independent retailers in their local area, or where they choose to visit.
Good Sixty connects people with their high street heroes, and champions the best of the best in the food industry, enabling people to shop more conveniently, ethically, and sustainably while protecting and enhancing local communities.
How long have you been coming to DeskLodge?
Just over a year.
What is your favourite about your job?
I love the people I work with the most. There's only a few of us in the office so it feels like a little family and I've made some friends for life here... getting to sample lots of great food is a massive perk of the job too.
What is your favourite thing about DeskLodge?
The massage chair! The lovely, smiley staff, of course.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to read, write and draw. I occasionally make earrings too! I've been making hand painted wooden earrings for the past couple of years. I started making my own jewellery to give as gifts to friends and family but gradually got some interest through word of mouth and on Instagram.
What music are you listening to at the moment?
Saâda Bonaire (Female art punk band from the 80's).
