This month’s DeskLodger of the Month is Stefanie Hadley, one of our brilliant Hot Deskers 🧡

Stefanie took a chance on an internship with a scrappy charity during her Masters and ended up creating an entirely new role in international development.

We asked her some questions about her work, and working at DeskLodge:

Why did you choose your role/industry?

I took a chance on an internship with a scrappy charity to support me through my Masters and learn about int dev, and created a whole new job around it.

What is the most surprising part of your job?

I spend a LOT of time talking about prosthetic legs (and trying to sneak them through African customs)

What are your plans for your career path?

Build experience in philanthropy and work with more arts-based organisations

How does DeskLodge help you do your job?

It gives me the perfect balance of vibes/atmosphere and spaces cultivated for focused work - a welcome change from my too-quiet house full of distractions!
